How to install and setup the HomeCare Mobile App (Radaro)
Step 1: Download and log in to the HomeCare Mobile App (Radaro)
Step 2: Review Location Settings
There are 2 steps to this guide, you must complete both steps.
Step 1: Download and log in to the HomeCare Mobile App (Radaro)
The Employee will receive a text message and an email with a link to download the Radaro application.
See picture guide below for assistance.
- Tap on the link and download the application from your Apple/Play Store.
- Open the Radaro App.
- Allow the application to Send Notifications.
- Allow the application to Always Use your location.
- At the bottom of the screen, you will see “Just got an invitation? Create Profile”. Press Create Profile.
- Enter your mobile number.
- Press Get Code.
- Press Send on the Mobile Number Verification screen.
- Enter the Code that was sent via SMS to your mobile number.
- Create a Password (Password must contain at least 1 capital letter and 1 number).
- Press Create Password.
- Your device may ask to Take a selfie, click Skip.
- Select your vehicle type, if requested.
- Skip or close any additional prompts that appear (i.e. ‘Create Schedule’).
- You are now logged into Radaro account.
- Move to Step 2 in this guide.
Step 2: Review Location Settings
When you are using Radaro, your location is used to calculate kilometers driven. Therefore, it is important that your device shares its location with Radaro ‘all the time’ (not just while using the app).
Users are typically prompted to allow location access the first time they create their profile. Depending on your device, there may be some additional steps needed.
🤖Android Users🤖
The location prompt will appear during the profile creation process- simply select ‘Allow all the time’ when prompted.
If at any time you wish to double check your location is being shared correctly, you can do so by following these steps:
Go to Settings > Location > App Permission > Radaro > Allow All the Time
🍏iPhone Users🍏
For iPhone users, due to iOS restrictions, you are only given the choice to select “Allow While Using App”. Select this option.
This means that once you complete your profile creation, you need to complete an additional step to ensure location access is shared ‘all the time’:
1. Go to Settings > scroll down list to Radaro > Location > Always
2. Additional Step: Ensure "Precise Location" is turned on
After this, users may occasionally see an iPhone prompt to advise that Radaro is using the device location multiple times. It is important to ensure that "Always Allow" is selected when prompted.
